I think this is a good look for Colin. He is particularly fond of it.

I figured now might be a good time to list some of Colin’s favorite things so that years from now we can come back and laugh!

  • Thomas - don’t get me started. I think this obsession may become expensive one day.
  • Sharks - Bruce, Hammerheads, Megoladons, Wobbegongs, Cookie Cutter, yes, we know them all.
  • Trucks - Fire Trucks, Backhoe loaders, cherry pickers, bulldozers, excavators, I’m sure there are million more.
  • Trains - See Thomas
  • Little Einsteins - “We’re going on a trip in our favorite rocket ship… Pat pat pat pat…”
  • Bob the Builder - He doesn’t love to watch it, he just loves to sing the song
  • Goodnight Moon - He has started to recite a lot of it
  • Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel - “Excavator book?”
  • Finding Nemo - See Sharks. Although he loves Jacques, Peach, Mr Ray, Dory, Marlin and of course Nemo.
  • Little Mermaid - Who knew an almost 2 year old could have a crush. The only princess thing I’ve bought for him so far are princess vitamins. I think I see a Little Mermaid pillow case in this boy’s future. Like father, like son. (side note: how is this going to translate to Broadyway!?!?)
  • Blocks - See trains (he stacks them in a line and pushes them like a train)
  • Eeyore - Not so much an obsession as a necessity for night night. And yes, we are slightly partial to classic Eeyore (although not entirely)

Question, Answer and a LOL

Question: why are we so upset by Michael Vick and his dog fighting “issue” yet seemingly indifferent to the bullfights happening Pamplona (et al.) each year? What’s the difference? This video is the answer to the question: “What is Colin’s current favorite game.” That’s right… Who hasn’t played a good game of Fall Over in their day.

I had a good old-fashioned LOL when I read the take on Silicon Alley Insider take on the press release Dow Jones issued about some General Manager changes and my coming back to The Wall Street Journal Digital Network.
