Despite the fact that Deb has reminded me over and over (and over!) again about that being Mazda’s tagline, not Nissan’s, I still sing it now that we’re driving around in our new ride (the Nissan Murano)…

I can’t wait to meet Colin—we had two friends give birth this past weekend and it is our turn, damnit! With a baby on the way, I spend a lot of time thinking about the future and what “will be,” but I also find myself thinking back to “what was”…
Yes. This would be my grandfather. I come from good stock. ![]()
Some of my earliest Grandpa Brown stories are of being at grandma and grandpa’s house and watching Gunsmoke with grandpa sitting in his cool leather rocking chair with his cool ottoman (though I would be well into my teens before I knew it was called an ottoman) we used to steal from him and crawl all over. This photo—which I came across during our recent move—brings back all kinds of memories about when grandpa lived with mom and dad and his harrassing the attractive nurses (which I know something about from a quick trip to Brockport) to inviting a girlfriend to sit on his lap to the way he always said thank you (”thankoo”) just generally goofing around (see picture above).
I’m excited to introduce Colin to his crazy grandpa (you know who you are) (and yes I mean both of you), but also a little sad he won’t get to meet my crazy grandpa. But at least I will have pictures to share!

Sometimes you really do—randomly—run into celebrities in New York City. Debra and I were headed into the office this morning and walked past Woody Harrelson getting out of a Lincoln Town Car.
I remember thinking to myself, “Gee, I would have expected his assistant to be hotter.” She was no more than a “6″…
I think Deb’s comment was, “Gee, where’s Judie when you need her?”

I’ve been promising some new pictures of my belly and of the condo with most of our furniture in place so here they are.
I’m 34 weeks pregnant in these pictures, 7 and a half months for those not up on the whole pregnancy and week thing. Only 6 more weeks until my due date, yikes! I’ve also included a picture of Matt at 34 weeks for comparison. Doesn’t he look uncomfortable?
Below are pictures of my red kitchen, our living room with Cup of Cocoa on the walls, and finally our bedroom with Mountain Sage on the walls. We’ve got a lot of unpacking still to do and the nursery is full of furniture we are getting rid of and stuff we haven’t found a place for yet.
