Mom and Dad come today! We just stopped by Bed Bath and Beyond to pick up the Aerobed that officially makes our apartment on West 52nd Street Hotel Ellsworth.
Not sure what all we’ll end up doing, but we’ll definitely be taking them to see the waste of money that is The Gates in Central Park. While I think it will be interesting from the perspective of “wow—you really can spend $21 million on decorating a bike path,” Deb and I were guessing we wouldn’t need to see it more than once, so we’ve held off going until they’re here. (Which is why, Little Brother, you haven’t seen a post on the blog about it yet.)
I think we’re also going to try to get up and see something of the Today Show or Good Morning America or whichever network seems to be most exciting when we get to that part of town (which isn’t far from here).

I’m just getting better. I was s-i-c-k! It sucked. And the worst part was I actually had to take an overnight trip to Chicago in the middle of being sick. I highly advise flying while sick. Love the non-stop action in the eardrums.
The upside is that Deb did NOT get sick in the whole process, but the downside is approximately $45 in cold medicine and $150 in juice.
Hope everyone is healthy!
