Little Einstein’s theme song. Let’s call it a “personalized” version since he cuts it more than in half and takes some liberties with the words. But it starts “Gonna take a trip on my favorite rocket ship…” I think you can make most of that out. Or maybe just me since I’ve heard it both on TV and from him so. many. times.

Oh don’t be fooled. Both he and Hannah already have their own email addresses… And for that matter their own web URLs, granted we’re not doing anything with colinellsworth.com or hannahellsworth.com other than aliasing them to ellsworthlink.net, they HAVE them. We read somewhere it is “what’s done” for kids these days, so there you go…

So right now he’s just laptop free. We’ll see how long that lasts. I’m guessing it lasts until I want a new one.

I sent Colin’s birthday card to you since I assume the poor kid doesn’t have his own e-mail address yet either. Alas, no computer or e-mail address. Now that he is older….3, that is, I’m waiting to hear about his “new” computer AND his e-mail address. (Of course I don’t have a clue what an iPod does.) But he sounds very convincing trying to convince his parents of his need for his own computer.

Ha! That’s awesome - my niece starting playing on our computers when she was two and I can’t even believe - the kid can type and spell now!!! She’s 3. I say get him a computer! Old, beat up, $30 computer from ebay with some word processor on it! He sounds adorable and fun and sweet- I’d love to see all of you soon - your family is beautiful!!!!

Ha. We had a heck of a time finding a shark costume for a lil’ kid, but looking I came across tons of them for adults. Only they are “mascot” costumes and cost $500-ish bucks. Ouch!

Previous commenters have said all the good stuff. I enjoyed this account of the visit. I remember once when David Pratt at Robbins, as the Apostle Paul in a skit, said something triumphant and scriptural that clearly reached all parts of the sanctuary, and his son Isaac said admiringly and loudly, “He’s a good yeller.”

Loved it when David loudly and proudly answered the pastor’s question “What does your daddy do?” (during children’s sermon) by saying, “My daddy makes money.” I was concerned that David would be overcome with the congregation’s laughter.

Hannah dropped a ball last week that was found several pews in front of us. Luckily it was towards the end of the service. I’m trying very hard not to be too uptight about the noises. We stick at the back with other babies who like to coo during the service which helps.
