Today was Colin’s first day of preschool. It was a soggy morning which had the added benefit of being able to bring the kids directly into their classrooms instead of watching them walk into the building independently. They can do the independent thing tomorrow when the sun is out.

Colin started his first day off right by telling his teacher he had already learned to read. I can’t wait for him to discover all that he has yet to learn.

We celebrated Colin’s 5th birthday a bit early with a balloon and bike Star Wars Halloween party. Everyone had a blast!

I think I’m going to keep Colin away from Calvin and Hobbes. The cool part about this one is that he rolled the balls all by himself. Our good friend Michele helped him start them and lift them up but this was mostly Colin’s handiwork.
