As pretty much everyone knows at this point because I’m unable to keep a secret we are expecting a new addition to our family in November! Matt and I are beside ourselves with excitement. We figured it was now time to document the baby by adding him/her to our blog.
We have two photos of the baby already. One from when we were 7 weeks pregnant and another when we were 9 weeks.

At 7 weeks the baby just looks like a little gummy bear (we circled the entire baby), at 9 weeks you can see the arms and legs which we have circled since understanding ultrasound photos is definitely an art.
We heard the heartbeat at our 11 week appointment and expect to hear it again tomorrow at our 15 week appointment. Maybe we will even get another photo of the baby and if we are really lucky we will find out the sex!

Congratulations — and apparently I can’t keep a secret either. It was a secret? Oh, never mind — it’s exciting. I see you two as being excellent parents. It’s not just talent and good looks, it’s character and determination, and I know you two want to do it well.

Same comment as Dan’s. Secret?? what secret. I have told everyone I see or know or might have seen or maybe saw in passing.. Anyway, most of the state of Florida knows about it.
As parents you both will be wonderful. I know since I have seen you with kids, loaned to you by Mark and Suzanne, to practice your parenting skills.

You’ve had several months knowing about your little “gummy bear” and looking at the world in different ways because of that.
Keep us updated about what you are thinking as time moves on toward the birth. (After that, you probably won’t have TIME to think.)
