Almost a Scorcher

I was realizing I haven’t posted in ages.

In trying to come up with something to write about the best idea I had was how hot it was outside today! It was a high of 87 and I walked around outside in a short sleeve shirt and flip flops.

Poor Matt had to walk around in a black suit.

I suppose that’s not as exciting as lard though…

(Insert obligatory Cambodia is always hot coment here)

But I don’t have to wear a suit, or even a tie to work.

Or even insert a comment, if you prefer. Oops.

It’s more exciting than our forecast for this week-end: snow Sat. and Sun. with high of 37 degrees:!:

We’ve had an unusually cool spring this year, but to counteract it, Carl and I are leaving for the Dry Tortugas on Saturday. We’ll be back May 14! The “little latitudes” are my favorite.

On the date of your post, I was beginning to come out of a cold caught at Myrtle Beach, where camping in mid-April seemed like Michigan camping in April. I hope to be done with the cold any month now. I don’t think it got that hot even in the Carolinas while we were there.
