I’m just getting better. I was s-i-c-k! It sucked. And the worst part was I actually had to take an overnight trip to Chicago in the middle of being sick. I highly advise flying while sick. Love the non-stop action in the eardrums.
The upside is that Deb did NOT get sick in the whole process, but the downside is approximately $45 in cold medicine and $150 in juice.
Hope everyone is healthy!

I remember this about being sick while holding a job — a day you would like to be subjectively short becomes subjectively LOOOONNNNNNGGGG! Condolences; may better days follow quickly. How are you *now*?

I was just sitting down to my computer to finish putting something together for work and I noticed I hadn’t coughed for a couple of hours. Of course upon noticing that fact I’ve coughed non-stop since. But I *am* much better. Thanks.

Ah but think of it… being sick and getting on an airplane. The chance to be so close to so many of your new found friends in a close space and sharing the joy that you are having at that time. Does it make you wonder how many of them are now sick???

Luckily it was a nearly empty flight. And judging from the other hacking and sneezing I was hearing I was far from the only sickie on the flight—even the flight attendant had to stop his safety announcements a couple of times to clear his throat! That’s what I remember about Chicago in the winter: sickie sickie sickie sickie sickie.
