Silly Colin

Colin was particularly funny today…

The snow shovels were facing each other leaning up against a wall and he tells me, “Look mom, the shovels are talking to each other.”

When asked if he wants a bath he tells me “I want a train bath.” When asked what a train bath is he tells me “it is when you fart and say Choo Choo.” When asked if his father taught him that he said “yes”. When his father is asked if this is true, the answer is NO!

While playing with his toys I walked past him talking to one of his cars that he had put on a chair. He was telling this car that it was in a time out because it when over the bridge after he had told it not to.

The day is almost over, I wonder what other gems might come out of his mouth in the next hour or two…

Having kids is a lot of work, but the numerous rewards include verbal gems. I used to kid Matt about “going through a phRase”, but now, some of my favorite quips are from him.
