Isn’t that a magazine or something? I know I recognize it from somewhere. Anyway, this particular post could more appropriately be entitled “Apartment Finished” or “Closet-Sized Dwelling Outfitted,” but I tend to type whatever pops into my head first so there you have it.
So… We have had our furniture for a month or more by now, but only two days ago did I finally take some pictures and only now am I posting them. With apologies to Vegan’s and the entire anti-leather lobby, we really like our couch/chair combo and with similar apologies to those against chopping down trees, we actually like the big wall unit entertainment center thingie too.
The first image, obviously, is of our dining room area with a little peek in through the kitchen pass-through window. The middle image is of our couch and chair combo with our decoration. It looks as though we positioned them “just so” but they actually do that themselves—I think they like the leather smell and squishiness of the cushions. The last picture is of our wall unit. I love (!) this the most. A perfect place for everything and it keeps things neat and tidy. And Deb can tell you all about how I like things neat and tidy.

Closet-sized dwelling? I don’t think so. Matthew, I think you’ve got more square feet per human resident than you had growing up. OK, come to think of it, you can’t just run outdoors where you are, not safely anyway. (How far to grass it’s OK to walk on?) Anyway, you have a good-looking place there. That’s not a surprise; you two have good taste anyway. Happy Thanksgiving to you both.

Ha! I just noticed in the kitchen picture you can actually see the lunch box John got me (upper left corner of the picture) when I graduated from college. The lunch box I was purportedly to take to work with me each day as I started my first real job. I never actually used it, but I have kept it all these years.

Love the new furniture, it looks great. Pretty floors. I did notice a few bare spots on the fridge though, you could use a few more magnets.
Happy Thanksgiving to all
