Safe and Sound In NYC

Travel

We arrived safe and sound and only a little cranky last night in NYC. The flight was pretty good. We were very lucky and got an extra seat to ourselves. Nala completely passed out under one of them, but Tundra was very uncomfortable. She meowed a lot and could not get to sleep. We spent most of the flight with her on one of our laps with our hand in the carrier.

They both seem fine this morning, eating well and sleeping well. Tundra definitely enjoys the view from the 17th floor!

I have to work today and Matt appears to have some great leads on apartments already. The weather doesn’t look so great, grey and should be rainy, but that’s something we should get used to now.

Welcome to our time zone! Leads on apartments already? 17th floor! I don’t think Lansing even *has* one of them. Cats eating and sleeping well. It all seems exciting to me — since I don’t have to go through the strenuous steps to living in a new place.

Welcome back to the east coast, the land of rain, fog (not smog) well that too and of snow and cold. We are glad you are not so far away from us all now. Good luck on the hunt for a place to live.

Yes, good to have you closer to us too, and in the same time zone. I see you are off to an early start today, Deb. Glad the kitties weathered the trip so well. How did apartment hunting go today, Matt?
