Right before I left Colin in the capable hands of his nanny and our friends Sandra and Charles on Tuesday, January 22nd, this was the message Colin recorded for his mother to keep her motivated during the next—as it turned out—28 hours.
Colin was, of course, making mommy feel good while she went into labor to deliver Hannah Lenore. I’m sorting the pictures and will post a couple of sets tomorrow. Need to sleep now. But I love this video!

for some reason I can’t see the video.
But… Congratulations!!!
and 28 hours?!? I scoff at your 28 hours (Abby took 48. But seriously, I’m sorry. Why can’t we have those easy births. Those… “well, my water broke and then I started labor and an hour and a half later my beautiful baby was in my arms” kind of births???)

(Well, Deb *averages* nearly 48.) Yeah, why not one of those famous fast ones?
I don’t know why I can see it and Krista can’t. Often I’m the one who can’t.
OUTSTANDING VIDEO! “I love you, Mommy” delivered sweetly. And I love Colin and his family. Oh, wow — the intellect-first elder is turning into an emotional Grandpa lately. That’s what these grandchildren are doing to me.
