    Our kids heard plenty about cooties, if I remember right; they just never learned about the vaccination. It seems simple enough; in reach of millions. “Circle, circle; dot, dot; …” — if I caught that correctly, though a slow-motion presentation might have been helpful. I am not usually openly emotional, but this presentation nearly brought tears to my eyes.

    Can you get the notification working? I don’t want to be late in missing another important public-service announcement.

    I admit — as a parent, I was complacent about cooties. It all seemed like a big joke. Nor was I alone, I suspect.

    Me? Apparently I have a working dry style. Tears, if any, would have been of laughter. I remember my kids at that age. Well, I *was* complacent as a parent. :wink:
