I’ve seen him on TV, heard him, read about him, and yet … and yet … he doesn’t capture my imagination like Garry Trudeau and Doonesbury.
Did somebody in the article allude to Will Rogers? (Not sure; I read this during my first cup of coffee.) I’ve read Will Rogers, and at his most biting (and he could be that) he was noticeably more benign than Mr. Colbert.
