After looking at Colin and my birthdays I wasn’t very impressed, but I knew once I looked at Matt’s this was definitely something worth sharing.
Bizarre American Holidays
Colin: Take a Hike Day
Deb: National Roast Suckling Pig Day
Matt: Lazy Day
Colin’s is nice, mine is just plain weird, and Matt’s well it’s just perfect! ![]()

On Mao Tse Tung Blvd. in downtown Phnom Penh there are a number of banners proclaiming: “Congratulation [sic] on World TB day, 24 March 2006″
So let me be the first, and I’m sure only, to wish you all a belated “Congratulation” (but only one congratulation) for World TB day. Good job everyone.

I wish I had been born on September 19th. Because that’s “Talk Like a Pirate Day” http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html (Dona Johnson sent me the link)

Mine is “National Frappe Day”, October 7, which is pretty much a waste of time as far as I’m concerned. Judy’s birthday, 7/28, is “National Milk Chocolate Day”, better, but maybe too tempting. Anniversary June 17: Watergate Day and Eat Your Vegetables Day. Oh, well, I had to try.
