I may be biased but I think we really do have the happiest baby on the block.
Yes, that shirt does say “if mommy says no… ask grandma”.
I should report that Colin successfully napped for about 5 or 10 minutes while sucking on his thumb today. The only problem is that he was opening his mouth a bit too wide for his little thumb with each suck, but I think that’s because he’s used to sucking on his mom and dad’s fingers which are much bigger.

Outstanding! Take these pictures for prompt relief of Seasonal Affective Disorder. How young can babies start to laugh? Colin seems far along in his homework for that developmental step. These are beautiful pictures — but look who you had to work with. Keep smiling, Colin, you are loved!

Excellent Dan, such a cutie. I reckon laughing comes with that first gasp of oxygen, seemed like it with our Piglet. Beautiful baba you have. Gotta agree with the ‘ask Grandma’, in our case WHOEVER says no ask Grampy

That was *tcmoon* of AngelsGalaxy, a private writers-group site I joined recently. He has posted pictures of a beautiful 13-month-old grandson Cameron (Piglet), and I linked to these pictures so I could do the Grandpa Brag too. I wish Colin lived closer, but his parents help by keeping up this site.

I’m thinking “Baby Contest” should be around the corner…he’d win by a mile! Or should I say, smile. Love to all.

Hello to Dan, Deb (presumably mummmy) and wee little bairn Colin!
You have the most beautiful, joyous little man…..he warms my heart just looking at him. I hope you don’t feel invaded by the “writers group people”..but how can anyone not comment on such a lovely bundle of joy. I must agree with Judie - baby contest for sure!!!
Lovely pictures,
with love,

That’s Robin of Eaton Rapids and SarahJane of Australia. I have enjoyed them online. Wanted them to see one of the reasons I’m happy lately. Let’s see — from November 17, that’s not three months yet. He’s looking good.

Matthew, did you ever in your life wonder whether you would have the parental attitude? I would say, if you did, wonder no more. I have seen the intensity of your attachment — and I remember baby sons . . .
Sometimes I miss a 31-year-old too . . .
. . . and Colin. Once again, Colin, nap on top of me. Can we do that?

Hehe. Was just telling about Colin’s naps on Grandpa’s belly. Funny you brought it up on the very same day.

I’m doing the Baby Pictures Brag here, showing my cousin Doug, his son, then his wife and a daughter, pictures of Jake and Colin. Then each time I see them myself I’m happy all over again. That’s contagious.
