Nala, who wasn’t so concerned about Colin’s arrival earlier, has taken a recent interest in this “smelly” new thing. She is often sniffing Colin whenever he is on our bed (probably just because that is her bed, damnit!). But she’s also pretty sweet. And when the Boppy pillow isn’t available, she shares her belly to the same effect.
Tundra, on the other hand, has decided a better approach to dealing with Colin is to “escape” and hang out at the far end of the house where it is probably a lot quieter. So in Colin’s as-yet-unoccupied bedroom, she’s taken up residence on his changing table. But she is quite willing to share it with its eventual owner…

Posted in Colin at 2:19 am by Matt Ellsworth? Hey, don’t do everything you saw me do! Or is this a matter of being awake for Colin, and doing something online before you again attempt sleep?
I enjoyed these pictures a lot — the “kids”, the composition, and the every-whisker detail.
When I remarked last month about “Baby’s First Gigabyte”, I hadn’t even thought about the video camera. That milestone might have come earlier than I realized.

I have to echo Dan’s comment… 2:19am??? Don’t forget you have a life too… Then if it was a feeding time in the middle of the night, that explains both cats being up and about. You both have several wonderful kids (human and feline). Enjoy them all!!
