We TOLD You We Had a Turkey in the Oven

Colin, Random

Happy Thanksgiving!

We’re just now waking up after a triptophan naps—we had a wonderful (!) Thanksgiving meal with lots and lots to be thankful for this year! Hope you all got to spend quality time with family (and at the dinner table).

[Thanks (or blame) for this photo idea goes to Colin's mommy based on too many corny jokes about the ol' "turkey in the oven"... It made us laugh, anyway.]

Just wait until the turkey is old enough to come up with corny jokes of his own at the expense of his mom and dad.
Check out the mountain of mashed potatoes, makes me think of Close Encounters of the Third kind. Also, are onion-ringless green beans really allowed on a Thanksgiving table?

As the closest thing to what you, mother, could mean by “the turkey is old enough…” etc. I take offense. All of my corny jokes come from my dad… ::razz: (oh, and here’s hoping my lame html attempt works, that’s supposed to be italics for emphasis…verdict?).

Although, I second the proposal to limit the use of green beans to the traditional green bean casserole (with french’s onions on top) on Thankgiving tables!.
