Condo? Check. Painting? Check.

General

So, we’re officially homeowners now. Closing went very smoothly on Thursday and we have been over in Hoboken every day since (I think we’re taking a break today) enjoying the new place.

By “enjoying,” of course, I mean: cleaning, patching, drop-clothing, masking, priming, “cutting-in,” painting, etc.

But the place does look much better! We’ve now got a “mountain sage” bedroom and a “cup of cocoa” living room. All we have to do before move in on Friday is finish the kitchen in “autumn maple” and we’re set. The two bathrooms will also need a coat of paint sooner or later, but not before moving in.

Sounds exciting - can’t wait to see the “after” pictures so we find out what those colors are for real!
I suppose somebody better get her rear in gear to finish something for some small person’s bedroom wall….

Congratulations on yet another milestone in your lives together. Once Colin arrives (officially) you will have it all…. I child, a car, a garage for the car and a mortgage payment.

Seriously, Judie and I are very happy for you both (all three??) and will make it a point to come back up and see the inside, as well as Colin.
