Will be available in about a week.
Bigfoot under microscope: a scientist plans to do a DNA test on a hair that is said to come from a sasquatch.
Scientists originally thought the patch of hair being tested was that of a bison, but it didn’t match that of a bison or any other known species. So—in about a week—we’ll know if Bigfoot exists. I, for one, cannot wait.
Next week: Loch Ness Monster–Fact or Fiction?

So I have to make two admissions about this post:
1. YES, I am definitely procrastinating at work.
2. I actually DO find this kind of cool. It’s always interesting when conventional wisdom is challenged.

Matt, I find it more interesting that you are procrastinating at work at 6:15 pm, (got you). Darn those people that decided to put time stamps on posted entries.
If the Loch Ness Monster is next week, when will confirmation of Aliens visiting the earth be confirmed?
Carl (at work at 7:41am … and I have been here since 7 am)

Unfortunately being at work at 6:15p isn’t terribly uncommon. Not common, but not uncommon, either. At least I enjoy what I do!

OK, I’m back from vacation, trying to catch up with things, and . . . and . . . What’s the verdict?

It was bison hair, apparently.

Thanks for the link, Joe. I liked “…an occasionally hilarious news conference…” best. So now the NBA is our best source of bigfeet, with Shaquille O’Neal and one of the Chicago Bulls of championship years (Perdue?) sporting size-22s. My 12 or 13 extra-wides aren’t even in it, so I won’t bother donating any hair to wildlife biologists. Is Shaq donating his hair somewhere? Oh, well, within the Ellsworths I might still be the resident “Bigfoot”. OK, I’d better not have *much* more coffee.
